Legendary comedian Jerry Lewis is to be awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 81st Annual Oscar Ceremony on February 22nd 2009.

According to the BBC, the 82 years old American actor of the 'Nutty Professor' has raised over 2 billion dollars (£1.3 billion) for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through his annual Labour Day Telethon.

Jerry Lewis is not just a man with a great sense of humour, he is also a man with great humanity, and that is shown through his generous Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius, the sign of brotherhood.
Venus-Jupiter is about love, beauty, harmony and peace, and in Aquarius, it is easy for him to show his kindness and sympathetic feelings towards other people via charity work. Venus-Jupiter in Aquarius is about 'universal love'.

Is there any indication of him receiving an Award on February 22nd 2009?

In 2009, Jerry Lewis will experience his Jupiter Return, a phase of luck, rewards and expansion.

On February 22nd 2009, Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion will conjunct his natal Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius (on top of a stellium of other planets and bodies), an excellent time to socialize and receive gifts from others.

With Venus hovering over his natal Mercury in Aries and making a harmonious aspect (a sextile) to his natal Jupiter, the famous comedian can expect a very pleasant evening.

Venus/Mercury and Jupiter are about pleasant social interactions with others, social events and gatherings.

He also has a string of good aspects on that day, which hints at a good night (Sun sextile his Taurus Moon, Pluto trine his natal Taurus Moon) (Let’s not talk here about restrictive Saturn opposite his natal Sun-Uranus conjunction..).

Also note he has Solar Arc Venus-Jupiter conjunct to his natal Taurus Moon, a very fruitful, pleasant and happy time, and Solar Arc Uranus-Sun trine his natal Venus-Jupiter is about a busy schedule, meeting new people, exciting friendship, social contact and television appeal.

This is definitely not a dull and boring time. At 82 years of age, Jerry Lewis is still firing on all cylinders!
