Mumbai Massacre

The attacks started on November 26th, a day before the arrival of Pluto into the Cardinal sign of Capricorn, and before the change of direction from Uranus, planet of the unexpected.
Pluto's influence was particularly intensified at the time as it was in the very last degrees of Sagittarius, and as Mars, the warrior, was aligned with the Sagittarius New Moon of November 27th, and Mercury, and challenging Jupiter (for excesses).
Pluto in Sagittarius is very symbolic of extreme ideological beliefs which trigger fanatical religious attitude and terrorism, such as the tragic event of September 11th 2001.
The astrology of the terror attacks is quite clear in both the independence chart of India and the proclamation of the Republic of India.
THE CHART OF INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA FROM THE BRITISH
In the chart of the independence of India (i.e. August 15th 1947 at 00:00 in Delhi), natal Uranus in Gemini is conjunct to natal Mars in the early degrees of Cancer.
In essence, the Mars-Uranus conjunction is explosive and unpredictable, particularly as Mars also makes a challenging aspect (a semi-square) to the 'malefic' Pluto-Saturn conjunction in Leo.
Pluto, the planet of deep and powerful transformation, currently opposes natal Mars at 00 degree 35' of Cancer, an indication of powerful confrontations, struggles using force and violence.
Saturn is also currently squaring natal Uranus in Gemini, bringing much instability and feelings of insecurities, even more so as Neptune exactly opposes the natal Leo Sun (i.e. the nation’s identity), raising furthermore feelings of insecurities and fear within the nation.
THE SOLAR RETURN CHART
The Solar Return of the chart of August 15th 1947 particularly reflects the terror attacks: a stellium of planets in Virgo in the 8th house, sector of death, with an ultra-violent, explosive and dangerous T-square involving Mars in the 8th (which is very confrontational) opposite Uranus (= explosive) square Pluto (powerful struggles using violence and force).
The Uranus-Mars-Pluto T-square is very representative of violence and explosions.
The ruler of the ascendant (Saturn) is also located in the sector of death (8th house), and India's Sun (i.e. the nation's identity) is afflicted by both Neptune (opposition) and Uranus (quincunx).
These aspects tend to trigger fears, religious fanatism, feelings of insecurities and anxiety (especially as the Solar Return 4th house is located in the natal 12th house).
THE CHART OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA
In the chart of the proclamation of the Republic of India (January 26th 1950 at 10:15am in Delhi), transiting Pluto is conjunct to the MC in Capricorn in the 9th house of foreigners (US and UK citizens were mainly targeted) opposite natal Uranus in Cancer, a very disruptive - and transformative - aspect (Pluto/Uranus). Pluto also makes a wide square to natal Mars in Libra (9 degrees), triggering extreme violence.
Uranus is in its direct station since November 27th, and opposes natal Saturn at 18 degrees of Virgo in the 6th house, challenging India's system of self-defence (The 6th house in Mundane Astrology relates to armed services).
The Moon in Taurus also square the Sun in Aquarius in India's natal chart, and Saturn is exactly passing through the Sun/Moon midpoint, and sesquiquadrate the Aquarius Sun, bringing in serious setbacks.
In the event chart of November 26th (above), the main aspect reflecting the deadly terror and confrontations is the explosive Mars/Pluto midpoint square Uranus, and of course - as already mentioned in the introduction - the Sun-Mars conjunction in Sagittarius, which is a very fiery and violent conjunction indeed.
